Each summer Fox holds one of the most prestigious award shows in all of Hollywood; The Teen Choice Awards.  Nominees are in tight competition in categories like like Choice TV Villain and Choice Female Hottie for the coveted award of a surf board.
Everyone who’s anyone was at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles last evening eagerly and anxiously awaiting to see just who was going to take home a surf board.  Not surprisingly most of the cast of Gossip Girl walked away with an award as well as the show’s host Miley Cyrus who won Choice TV Actress Comedy for Hanna Montana.  To see a complete list of winners click here.  The show will air tonight on Fox at 8pm.  Click through the gallery to see the mostly hits and some misses of last night’s red carpet fashion.  (Ed Westwick, what were you thinking with that scarf?!)

There’s no better homecoming than to be received by a loved one.  We spotted said transaction at LAX over the weekend when we saw teen dream Zac Efron getting picked up from girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.  It looks like the High School Musical stars are still going strong after wrapping up their third movie together.

High School Musical hottie Zac Efron is working hard to keep the temperatures of his female fans soaring with some regular workout sessions down at his local gym.  Zac went pumping iron yesterday in LA and showed off his toned torso and bulging biceps when he left. We’re certain girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens will like what she sees.

Zac Efron, it’s been awhile. We caught up with the cool guy in a parking garage in Beverly Hills who has just wrapped High School Musical 3.  Zac must be a lonely boy since his lady Vanessa is currently in New York promoting her album but I’m sure he has plenty of (boy)friends to keep him company!

Awww look at lil Zac Efron.  He’s stuck in a hotel in England without his lovely gf Vanessa.  Well, enjoy your alone time Zac because you’re about to be mobbed!
Zac, who is currently on the Isle of Man filming the movie Me and Orson Wells, had been spotted in a hotel lobby enjoying some drinks and watching a soccer game.  Apparently Zac had been chatting and texting away to Vanessa. Later, Zac got scoped out at the local restaurant by some rabid fans and had to have a police escort take him out the back door!  Zac managed to pose with the pubs owners before the mob of crazy, screaming girls chased him out!  Ah, such is the life of teen heartthrob! 

High School Musical duo Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron have been completely inseparable since Z. was released from hospital the other day. Awwwwww! Vanessa and pal Ashley Tisdale drove round to see Zac on Friday following his successful appendix op. And Vanessa was back to check out Zac’s scars again on Saturday. She drove him to a friend’s house in her new Audi A4 convertible.

Aww Zac and Vanessa are just so f’n precious, aren’t they?  Celebs were on hand over the weekend for The 19th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala held at The Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs in Cali. 

Other hot numbers included the cast of Juno; Allison Janney, JK Simmons (who play the parents) and the star, Ellen Page.  Look how tiny she is!  She’s got some major acting chops though.  It also must be noted that Halle Berry looks fantastic!  Now that is how you do knocked up and classy.

And in the opposite direction of fantastic was Mary Hart.  That purple wonder of a dress she has on is really something.  I wonder if she just picked this up or got lost in her closet and ended up in 1988.  Mary Hart are you getting Dirty Dancing confused with High School Musical?  Are you confused by Jason Bateman‘s ability to look as fresh faced in Juno as he did in Teen Wolf Too?  I know Mary, this retro nostaliga can really do a number on your head sometimes.  Like who knew we’d all be rocking leggings and bamboo earrings again in 2008?  But you stay strong Mare, just keep up with reality tv and you’ll stay in check.

"Hi, my name is Zac"  and I have friends!  Seriously!  Look, here they are! Zac Efron seen here in Napa, California over the weekend looks like he’s about two seconds away from having that underwear pulled right over his head.  (And why exactly is he wearing a name tag? Is that some kooky thing the kids are doing these days?)   At least he’s got his good looks to save him.
