It was all fun and games at the Gosselin family home at the weekend as mom, Kate Gosselin, organized an exciting Easter Egg Hunt for the whole family – minus dad Jon, of course.

All eight kids were running around and screaming as they searched the yard for treats while Kate made sure the chaos didn’t get too out of control.

Once the search was over, Saturday night Kate boarded a plane to LA where it was back to work, rehearsing for her next appearance on DWTS this evening.

Dad Jon has been left at home to take care of the brood, and it’s nice to see him back on daddy duties after he went AWOL for almost a month recently.

It only seems like yesterday we were watching the offspring of Jon and Kate Gosselin having fun in the sun in the garden of their PA home.

Well at the weekend, all that changed…and they were having fun in the snow instead.

All eight of the Jon and Kate Plus 8 clan couldn’t contain their excitement as the snow flakes fell, and they made snowmen and hurled snowballs at each other.

Not sure where their parents were while all this was going down.

Mom getting her nails done perhaps, and dad trying to find a woman who actually wants to settle down and spend the rest of her life with him. NO CHANCE!

Don’t even try to deny it, The Gosselin siblings have got to be the cutest Plus 8 you have ever seen.

In what can only be described as a formidable show of unity, the brothers and sisters from the Jon and Kate Plus 8 show were having a ball when we spotted them playing out in the back yard of their PA home.

Who knows how much they understand about what is going on between their squabbling soon-to-be-divorced mom and dad.

What is clear to see though is that there is a terrific bond between each and every one of the little cuties.

It’s just a shame their lives are being played out for the world to see when they have no say in whether or not it’s good or bad for them.

Let’s hope their parents don’t lose sight of who is really important here…and it’s not the dollars.
