Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell just can’t get enough of each other. Paula and Simon both left American Idol – Simon went back to the UK to do the show, The X-Factor and Paula did some dancing thing that no one watched. Now, Simon is bringing the X-Factor to the US and he wants Paula by his side.

INF Daily spotted Cheryl Cole heading into the Fountain Studios in Wembley for the final X Factor rehearsals. This has been one of the feistiest years ever for the show. Cheryl is concerned about her act and hopes it will win so it has a chance to release a No. 1 Christmas single. Is she sticking out her tongue at us because she knows something we don’t?

We caught up with Mr Nasty American Idol judge Simon Cowell with the new lady in his life today…and we couldn’t help but notice she was wearing a wedding ring!!

You’re shocked, and so were we, but there’s clearly no mistaking that band on her wedding finger.

Does this mean Simon has finally found Mrs Right in make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy and they have gone an got married in secret?

Or is there another reason for the ring…

Well, whatever, Simon seemed pleased as punch to be strolling around today with his new girlfriend/fiancee/wife, and we’re happy he’s found true love at last.

Is Mr. Fancy Pants, Simon Cowell, actually smoking Kool cigarettes?  It really surprises me to see him with a pack of menthol cigarettes, but then again he is leaving a restaurant with a beer in hand so maybe he was a little tipsy.

We spotted Simon leaving Mr. Chow’s in London after dining with his fellow X-Factor judges.  That guy just loooooves to judge other people, so much so that it’s pretty much what he does for a career!  One day when I’m old and respected, I hope to have a job as a judge of some sort.  I will make cutting, but witty comments about contestants abilities and the public will love to hate me. Oh, and I’ll make billions of dollars.

Tough-talking Simon has a reputation for being horrible to humans – particularly Idol contestants – but at least we know there’s a big softie hiding under that angry exterior.

British opera singer Paul Potts was a walking advert for UK department store Marks & Spencer when he emerged carrying his own tuxedo to an appearance on the Today Show. Potts wowed audiences (and even hard-to-please judge Simon Cowell) across the Atlantic when he won the first season of Britain’s Got Talent. Now he hopes to do the same Stateside. Shouldn’t be difficult, judging by his performance this morning.
