The Council of Fashion Designers of America held their annual awards last night, which means a bunch of pretty people dressed up to complement each other on looking even prettier. And they did a damn good job. Marc Jacobs won the Womenswear Designer of the Year, while Marcus Wainwright and David Neville won the Menswear Designer of the Year. Michael Kors won the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and Iman won the Fashion Icon Award.

Not only is Georgina Sparks back in town but there are couple of new players on the Upper East Side.  Check out Tamara Feldman who will return to play socialite Poppy Lifton and Armie Hammer, who will play European socialite Gabriel Serrano; a dashing young man who makes a play for Serena.

Michelle Trachtenberg looks, dare I say, fierce in her arctic parka.  I am so glad she is back to stir shit up with the Gossip gang!

Evil Lady G is back in business!

We spotted Michelle Trachtenberg filming scenes for an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl this week.  Michelle, aka Georgina Sparks, is dressed very demurely in pink and red; is she going to try to fool the gang into thinking she’s gone good?! 

The real-life Michelle also stops for a make up and hair touch up along co-star Leighton Meester.  Gossip Girl FINALLY returns next Monday, March 16. 

The bitch is back!!

As promised, Michelle Trachtenberg is has re-joined the cast of Gossip Girl to reprise her role of the delightfully evil Georgina Sparks.  Last time we saw G in action she was plotting to bring down Serena by drugging her and stealing Dan, this time around she’s making a move for Chuck Bass! Georgina will start stirring things up beginning April 27 for the final four episodes of season 2.

Executive producer Stephanie Savage offered a clue, telling People during the show’s summer hiatus, “I don’t think there’s any boot camp in Idaho or anywhere else that will hold Georgina Sparks for long … I don’t think she was very happy with Blair. They have some unfinished business.”

Georgia + Chuck = Bad News!!!  She’s going to take advantage of his grieving period and make him to do bad things, I can’t wait!

Everyone wants a piece of the action at the tents at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City and these lovely ladies are no different.

Yesterday we spotted a smiling Nicole Richie, Gossip Girl and Nickelodeon stars Michelle Trachtenberg and Amanda Bynes and Beverly Hills 90210 star Jessica Stroup.

I am so excited for Michelle’s return to Gossip Girl! I don’t want to spoil too much but it looks like Serena and Blair have a big problem on their hands and they need someone as scheming and devious as Georgina Sparks to help them out!

The celebs came out in full force over the weekend to have some fun in the snow at the Sundance Film Festival.  Everyone from Michelle Trachtenberg to Slash walked down Main Street and took advantage of advanced screenings and gift suites!

We also ran into; Ashton Kutcher, Denise Richards, DJ AM (with a mysterious blonde) and Kevin Bacon.

With the presidential inauguration less than a week away, celebrities are coming out welcome our new president to office.

Yesterday we spotted Diddy, Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg leaving Dream Bigger Studios in Los Angeles.  They were gathered together by Ashton Kutcher as part of a montage he’s producing to celebrate President-Elect Obama. 

Apparently Ashlee and Michelle (who’s coming back to Gossip Girl!!) were feeling frail as both of them were being lead by the hand!

Josh Schwartz muses Rachel Bilson and Michelle Trachtenberg were on hand for the Whitney Museum Art Party last night at the Skylight gallery space in New York City.  Rachel Bilson looked absolutely FOXY!  Well played madame! Michelle was a close runner up in a deep wine (mmm wine) colored frock.  Also on hand were Super Bowl champ Eli Manning and his new bride Abigail McGraw as well as actor James Franco, who did not look foxy, and that bums me out.  The messy hair and the scruff is not working for me James, it obstructs the view of your beautiful face, clean it up!
