Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Chris Brown’s Michael Jackson Tribute Breakdown

Everyone’s heard about Chris Brown’s dramatic “breakdown” while singing a medley of Michael Jackson’s songs during the BET Awards on Sunday. He couldn’t get through “Man in the Mirror” and started openly weeping on stage. There’s a lot of debate about how legit the performance was, but the man who beat Rihanna just a little over a year ago has garnered a surprising amount of public empathy for his display of emotion.

Jimmy Kimmel, for one, isn’t buying it.

COPS RAID MICHAEL JACKSON DOC’S SURGERY

Houston Police, LAPD and Federal officers armed with a search warrant are currently raiding the office of Michael Jackson‘s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray. The raid in Texas comes hot on the heels of another raid yesterday at Murray’s office in Las Vegas. Murray was responsible for administering a number of prescription drugs to Jackson before he died, and gave the singer CPR after he suffered a massive heart attack at his home.

MICHAEL JACKSON’S KIDS SAY GOODBYE

The King of Pop Michael Jackson was remembered today around the world.

Mourners, including his children Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, paid a final farewell to the music legend at services in Los Angeles.

A host of celebrities gave tribute after tribute to Jacko before his body was expected to be buried at a private family service.

Investigations are still underway to discovered exactly what caused the singer’s death, aged 50.

He was due to go on tour in the UK and it has been suggested the punishing rehearsal schedule played a part.

NO PUBLIC FUNERAL FOR JACKO AT NEVERLAND

The Jackson family has released a statement today saying there will be no public or private service for Michael Jackson at Neverland.

He might have a gazillion fans across the globe, but that ain’t so in Santa Barbara where residents certainly didn’t want their tax dollars blown on a memorial to the King of Pop.

"Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.

”Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly," a statement from the family read.

Trying to control the tens, possibly hundreds, of thousands of people who would have shown up for the service would have been a logistical nightmare for the cops.

So we bet they are breathing a huge sigh of relief.

MICHAEL JACKSON: WHO’S THE DADDY?

Just as you thought it couldn’t get any messier, the s@#t seriously hit the fan today when it was claimed Michael Jackson is not the biological father of his kids.

Rumors have been rife for years as to whether or not any of the King of Pop’s sperm played any part in the births of  his three children.

Well, if you listen to any of the rumors/gossip on the celebrity blogs today, it would appear not.

It just means, even after his death, the world will continue for a long time yet to discuss the bizarre life of Jacko.

And maybe his poor children will never know if they are the true offspring of one of the world’s greatest ever entertainers.

Meanwhile, a public service will be held Friday at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara.

A private service for family and close friends will be held on Sunday.

JACKO’S MOM SHOPS AT TARGET JUST HOURS AFTER SON’S DEATH

It’s a crazy world we live in…just ask the Jackson family.

You would think with all their fame and fortune, someone could have offered to run errands for Michael Jackson’s mom Katherine just hours after she had received the devastating news of her son’s death.

But NO! Instead, she headed off to Target in Los Angeles where she stocked up on sleeping bags, presumably for family and friends who will be jetting into California for Jacko’s funeral.

LIZ TAYLOR’S TRIBUTE TO TRAGIC FRIEND MICHAEL JACKSON

Elizabeth Taylor just released a heartfelt statement following Michael Jackson‘s sudden and shocking death yesterday:

"My heart … my mind are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him," Taylor, 77, said. "We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together."

Like many people, Taylor says she was looking forward to Jackson’s highly anticipated return to the stage in the U.K. next month. "I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can’t believe it," she says. "I don’t want to believe it. It can’t be so."

Taylor, who stood by Jackson through the good times as well as the difficult ones – including when he faced allegations of child molestation – says her friend "will live in my heart forever, but it’s not enough. My life feels so empty."

"I don’t think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest, most giving love I’ve ever known. Oh God! I’m going to miss him. I can’t yet imagine life with out him.

"I guess with God’s help … I’ll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, ‘To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.’ And, I will love HIM forever. "

WEEKS BEFORE MICHAEL JACKSON’S CAUSE OF DEATH IS KNOWN

The anguished family of Michael Jackson could be forced to wait up to two months before they know what killed the King of Pop.

A final verdict on Jacko’s autopsy will not be possible until toxicology test results are confirmed, which could take "six to eight weeks," the Los Angles Coroner’s office told the Associated Press today.

Assistant chief Ed Winter said an autopsy examination would last several weeks.

"We will be performing toxicology tests and an extensive exam and it could take up to six to eight weeks before we will have the final results from the onset, from last night," Winter said.

Winter said a preliminary report on the cause of death would likely be deferred until the test results are known.

"Probably that the case, the cause of death is going to be deferred until we get the results of all the tests," Winter said.

"However, we did want to let people know that the exam is being conducted this morning. We’ll probably start in a few minutes."

Winter would not comment when asked about what physicians had found after initial examinations of the star’s body.

He also declined to comment on reports the star had been given a powerful painkiller shortly before he collapsed at his home.

"I can tell you the likelihood is slim that we will have any results released today because of the extent and level of the tests we are going to be performing," Winter said.
