Matthew McConaughey began primal screaming and begging the surf gods for waves when we spotted him enjoying the Pacific Ocean near his home in Malibu today. And no, this was not a scene for his movie Surfer Dude, this is 100% reality (we’re a little concerned to say.)

Matthew McConaughey went for his usual morning run in Malibu along with two male buddies and galpal Camila Alves today, but Brazilian beauty Camila looked none too pleased that her guy left her trailing behind in the dust as he showed off his athletic prowess to his friends. When Camila finally caught up to the pack back at Matt’s trailer, he seemed to take her hand and apologize profusely. We’d forgive him Camila – he’s not Pete Doherty, and it could be a lot worse (see below).

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson had time for some male bonding on a Maliby beech at the weekend. Mat and Woody played a game of bowls with friends after finishing filming on the Surfer Dude movie.
