Talk about a merry Christmas! Matthew McConaughey got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend – and mother of his two children – Camila Alves over the weekend.
McConaughey posted a super sweet picture of the two kissing in front of their Christmas tree (above), along with the note, “Just asked camila to marry me. Merry Christmas!”

That is the question on everyone’s minds when they talk about the new film Magic Mike. Afterall, it is a male stripper flick based on co-star Channing Tatum’s life before he became an actor. We really don’t ask too much of Matthew McConaughey. Like ever. We don’t particularly need him to act very well to see his movies. We don’t need Matthew to be nice in the press either. The only thing we really want is for him to take his damn shirt off when he goes for a jog! Is that too much to ask for? Jeez!

Take off your top Matthew. Just do us a solid and take it off. We’ve actually heard it can be extremely uncomfortable to jog when it’s over 45 degrees outside. But only if you’ve got a six pack. Something about the ab muscles rubbing against a t-shirt – or heaven forbid a jacket – causes too much friction for comfort. Exercise physiologists recommend that serious male athletes remove their upper body clothing when circumstances such as these arise.

Alright alright alright. Hello Matthew McConaughey. INF Daily spotted the shirtless Matt jogging along the beach in Malibu yesterday. All we can say is, the man really does know how to take care of himself.
Matt’s been very busy lately – he has three movies coming out this year. The Lincoln Lawyer is scheduled to hit theaters in March, and thankfully it’s a departure from the silly romantic comedies he’s been doing. But we’ll watch whatever film he makes – just as long as he keeps jogging along the beach without a shirt.
How cute are Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves on their way home from the gym today? When we workout – which we’d never let a significant other see us do – we keep everyone at a 10 foot minimum distance. Sweat and such.
