Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross spent some quality time with her twin daughters in Brentwood yesterday. Savannah and Eden pushed each other in a little wagon and took turns using mom as their own personal jungle gym.
It looks like the most dramatic apartment complex in Los Angeles is coming back to the small screen. Following it’s success with the Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off, the CW is looking to bring another 90s classic, Melrose Place.
Melrose itself was a spin-off 90201 (remember when Jake conveniently walked out of Kelly Taylor’s posh Bev Hills house and into the adult world of condos) and aired on Fox from 1992-1999. The show had about a million cast members, everyone from Marcia Cross and Kristin Davis to Grant Show (the requisite gay guy) and Chad Lowe. (Seriously, check out this cast list and the amount of people who had 2-episode arcs…Loni Anderson, Kathy Ireland, Jasmine Guy, wtf?!) And who could forget Heather Locklear, aka Amanda Woodward, the advertising titan from D&D.
The spin-off is still in its very early stages but one does wonder if anyone would come back to the new Melrose like Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty have done with 90210. The thing is with Melrose Place is…well…everyone was f-cking crazy! Marcia Cross’ character tried to blow up the apartments and Kristin Davis’ character’s ghost haunted her husband (played by Andrew Shue). Well, crazy or slutty. Lots of slutiness, but that’s what made it good. Now, let’s check out the old opening credits, cuz that theme song is a close second to 90210′s. Get ready for some sexy guitars…
This Sunday is Mother’s Day, the day we take each year to recognize the special lady who helped to show us the ways of life. When we think of Hollywood moms the first person who comes to mind is Angelina Jolie. With three adopted children, one biological and one (maybe two) more on the way, Angelina has wowed us all with her ability to be a great mother while at the same time being a Goodwill Ambassador and making movies. Of course there are other great moms we see in action all the time, Posh, Gwen, Jennifer Garner and Heidi Klum are all often seen having a great time with their little ones.
So this Sunday don’t forget your mom, who is a star in her own right, especially for putting up with you for all these years! And speaking of being abundantly tolerant, I would like to give a special shout out to my own mom for being such a great person; Happy Mother’s Day Mimi!

We spotted Marcia with one of her twins going for a stroll and doing some shopping in Brentwood, Calif. yesterday. It looks like Marcia’s already trying to keep her baby from getting wrinkles!
