Material Girl Madonna took some time off from filming her latest movie in London and flew into New York city, where she met up with her former love Carlos Leon. Madge went for a morning run with Leon, the father of her daughter Lourdes, before she hit the clubs later in the night.

Madge is well known for her stunning performances in front of the camera, but it seems being behind the camera comes with extra pressures she can’t handle. Our pictures caught her looking tired and hassled as she directs the low budget film Filth and Wisdom.
Madonna wore an old Soviet submarine captain’s hat for some reason while playing director on a film called Filth and Wisdom in London today. Guess she’s struggling to find a costume incarnation that she hasn’t tried yet (cowgirl, disco diva, sado-masochistic nympho etc etc). She also brought adopted son David Banda along to the set.. or at least she told the nanny to bring him.
It’s back from Africa and back to the gym for Madonna, whose Ed Hardy tee-shirt reads ‘Love Kills Slowly.’ We’re hoping this isn’t a reference to her relationship with Guy Ritchie as rumours about a rift in their marriage continue to swirl in the British press.
