Only Katy Perry could get away with posing with a giant, metallic purse that is shaped like a pair of lips.  The singer was celebrated last night at Paper magazine’s 12th annual Beautiful People party, co-hosted by H&M and Skyy Vodka.

Katy not only graced the cover of the "beautiful people" issue of Paper but also performed at the fete.  K.P. was joined by Lady Sovereign (more like Lord Sovereign), Kat DeLuna, Richie Rich and Jaslene Gonzalez (please eat a sandwich).

We spotted Katy Perry in yet another unusual outfit as she excited London’s Koko club late last night.  The singer performed on stage earlier in the evening as part of her of her European tour. 

Katy has responded to the rumors that she and Benji Madden are hooking up (after being seen together in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day).  She writes on her blog, "It’s two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other… doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell. I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy Valentine’s with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25."

She adds that her main squeeze these days is her cat, "’Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to Kitty Purry"

Chris Martin and Bono on the same stage? Sounds like a little too much self-righteous rock and roll for me but such was the case last night at the Brit Awards.

Coldplay, U2 and Duffy all rocked the audience but it was Duffy who swept the night with three awards.  Katy Perry and Kings of Leon also approached the podium at the over the top awards show.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry hopped across the pond to take part in The Brit Awards, being held in London tonight.

The music award show is held every year, similarly to the Grammys, but it’s known for whacky on stage antics and outrageous red carpet fashion.

Taylor Swift was comparably understated in her mirrored dress when you check out what Katy Perry was wearing! Katy rocked an outfit comprised of latex and rhinestone Hello Kitty pins in such a fashion that only she could pull off.  The ladies may seem "loud", but remember, we haven’t even seen Lady GaGa yet!

Katy Perry was a raven beauty, wearing black all the way from her had to her toes at the 59th San Remo Festival in San Remo, Italy this afternoon.

The festival is an international song contest that is hosting Annie Lenox and Katy as special guests.

I like Katy’s look, it’s kind of like Velma Kelly from Chicago, except even more modern (although how can you be more modern than Fosse?!).   You know who else likes Katy’s black bob?!  Benji Madden!!  Benji must have a lot of charm because I’m really not seeing how a guy like that could rope in the likes of Katy and Paris Hilton!

Katy Perry cut a trim figure at the the Bondi Blonde’s Style Mansion last night.  The singer rocked a gray dress and ferocious pair of black heels. (Bondi Blonde is a low-carb Australian beer, all the sheilas love it!)

Katy is currently on her Hello Katy tour; she has two more dates in America and then she’s off to Europe!

Katy Perry looked decidedly sad as she left the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles last night.  The singer played an acoustic set and addressed her recent break up with Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy. 

"It hurts right now," she told the audience.  "When you breakup with someone you move on.  You don’t really want to move on … but you have to because they don’t give you any choice," she said.

But, added Katy triumphantly, "I’m over it!"

Yay!  That’s right girl, it’s a new year and that means it’s time for new men!!  Get your hair did, put on some hot clothes and hit the town-he ain’t worth it!

Katy starts touring again Jan. 23.
