We spotted Rachel McAdams sporting a very old timey hairdo in New York City yesterday, but that’s probably because she was on the set of Sherlock Holmes!  Rachel was joined by her co-stars, Robert Downey Jr. (Sherlock Holmes) and Jude Law (Dr. Watson).  Both Rachel and Jude had small cuts on their faces, hope that was just stage make up!  The Guy Ritchie-directed Sherlock Holmes will come out some time in 2010.

Jude Law celebrated his 36th birthday in Rio De Janiero on Sunday with his children and ex-wife Sadie Frost.

The family went buffet style at the Angra dos Reis Restaurant.  Jude is currently working on Guy Ritchie’s new Sherlock Holmes film; Jude’s old timey mustache is for his role of Dr. Watson.

He looks miserable at the best of times, but we’ve been asking ourselves here at INFdaily if Jude Law has started to model himself on Russian president, Vladimir Putin. Looks like Jude and Vlad might share the same barber. Wonder if they share the same hatred for the paparazzi?
