After an eventful – and Kate-less! – Father’s Day with his kids, Jon Gosselin goes back to his daily routine of cleaning up and taking out the trash. Looks like fun!

Over the weekend, Jon Plus 8 enjoyed some lacrosse, Slip’N Slide, and a trip to the doctor after Aaden bumped his head. Poor kid! But no worries.. He’s fine!

After going AWOL on his 10th wedding anniversary last week, Jon Gosselin was back at the family home in Reading, PA, today…just in time to see his wife’s new hairdo.

Jon hasn’t been away for a few days and left wife Kate to care for the kids all weekend long.

But today, Kate headed out to get her hair trimmed and dyed, and Jon was on hand to keep a watch over the brood and the family’s two dogs.

The couple do seem to be spending a lot of time apart at the moment, only adding to the rumors they could be about to split.

Whatever happens, no doubt we’ll hear about it first on the TLC reality show…imagine what that would do for the ratings!!

Yes, it’s very sad, but there was no sign of Mr Gosselin when Kate stepped out in the garden with their kids and dogs and a TLC film crew.

Today is the reality show couple’s 10th wedding anniversay.

But not an expensive presents for either of them, just a giant inflatable erected in the garden.

At least the kids will have a good time.

While his wife’s away in North Carolina having fun with the five-year-old kids, we spotted hubby Jon Gosselin arriving back at the family home in PA with his eldest daughters, looking like they’d been on an overnight trip somewhere.

Has Jon been spending some much needed daddy bonding time with the girls?

For all the suggestions and claims he might have been cheating on wife Kate, one thing seems clear that he loves his children dearly and he will always make sure that they come first, no matter what.

Love or hate their show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, the children are super-cute and we hope the Gosselins can solve their marriage problems for the sake of the kids.

While mom is away with the rest of the brood in North Carolina, the oldest Gosselin kids were put to work by their dad Jon at home in Pennsylvania.

As soon as school finished for the day, Jon whisked twins Mady and Cara down to the local UPS parcel store to help him collect some boxes.

And they certainly earned their pocket money this week, helping dad pack the car before heading home.

Are Jon and Kate Gosselin running an illegal sweat-shop or something??

Not content with major marriage problems, seems like the bosses at the Pennsylvania labor department thinks the couple’s hit TV show Jon and Kate Plus 8 might be in breach of child labor laws.

The TLC series is now under investigation.

"I can confirm that our bureau of labor law compliance is conducting an investigation as they do whenever they receive a charge," said Christopher Manlove, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

It’s not entirely clear why the probe has been launched, but TLC has responded by saying it ”fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations.”

It adds: ”Jon and Kate + 8 is no exception.  For an extended period of time, we have been engaged in cooperative discussions and supplied all requested information to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor.

”We will continue to engage the appropriate officials and meet any standards or regulations that are applicable to TLC productions."

 What’s the problem anyway? If you’ve got eight kids, make them work for their food…

It was so nice to see, but was it all just one big stunt for the TV show cameras??

Jon and Kate Gosselin seemed to put their marital strife behind them for a few hours on Sunday as they played happy families at a birthday party for some of their kids.

Kate barked out her orders as the children played on an inflatable bouncy castle.

And we even pictured Jon having a heart-to-heart with his alleged love rival, Kate’s bodyguard Steve Neild.

Maybe the Gosselins were putting on an act for the TV producers and it will be a lot less friendly when it all ends in the divorce court.

Reality TV show stars Jon and Kate Gosselin, of Jon and Kate Plus 8 fame, spent time together as one big happy family for the sake of their kids on Mother’s Day.

Jon and Kate are currently in the middle of a messy ”did he or didn’t he?” saga after it emerged Jon allegedly had an affair with a local school teacher near their hometown in Pennsylvania.

Jon has denied the claims and Kate appears to be standing by her man.

So it was nice to see her going about her normal day-to-day life yesterday, rushing around buying groceries, picking up a birthday cake and dropping in at a tanning salon.
