Who knew that buying pet food could be such a serious matter! 

We spotted Jake Gyllenhaal, or Jake Gyllenhottie as I like to call him, leaving Petco in Brentwood, Calif. this afternoon and he had the most intense look on his face; I’m glad to see that Jake doesn’t think puppies are a laughing matter.

Boo hoo. Why so sad Gyllenspoon?  We spotted Jake and Reese out in London last night and they looked less than thrilled.  The couple were leaving Scott’s Seafood Restaurant with Reese looking bumed and Jake looking like an actual bum.  What’s up with the scrub attire, dude?  Granted Jake’s beard may be due to the fact that he’s working Prince of Persia: Sands of Time but couldn’t he comb his hair or something?  I mean, he’s still totally hot, don’t get me wrong, but when you’re out with a lady like Reese, you’ve got to step it up.  Also, is eating at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant (the most straight forward name ever, sounds like it should be on the Cape) not a joyous occasion?! You probably got to eat a lobster! Cheer up!

We spotted Reese and Jake leaving their NYC hotel today.  The two have been spotted around the Big Apple for the past couple of days but have kept it pretty quiet; no rowdy club nights or fancy shopping sprees for these two.  I suppose you could say they’re a breath of fresh air, but I just say BOR-ING!

Is that Jake Gyllenhaal with a tat? Has the birthday boy treated himself to some body art to mark the fact he’s just turned 27? Well, we caught up with Jakey on the set of his new movie, Brothers, in New Mexico and he was definitely sporting a tattoo on his neck. We suspect it’s been done for the film. Then again, maybe the David Beckham craze is catching on and he’s got a picture of Reese Witherspoon emblazoned across his chest.

Jake Gyllz turns 27 today and now I need to stuff myself into a giant plastic cake and send him a surprise.  Happy birthday to one sexy motherf***r.

Rumored couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal laughed off the gossip suggesting they are Hollywood’s hottest hook-up when they showed up at the Toronto Film Festival. There to talk about their movie, Rendition, Reese told The Insider show: ”It’s crazy and funny how much people can make stuff up.” Interestingly, neither of them said ”We’re not dating” so enough of the BS already.
