“Smoking laws be damned,” Ginnifer Goodwin seemed to say when we spotted her in New York yesterday. The Walk the Line actress was seen lighting up while she tooled around the city doing promotions for her new movie Something Borrowed. Yup, that’s the same movie that also stars Kate Hudson. Only Kate’s been hogging the spotlight lately, what with her baby bump and that enormous diamond she’s sporting on her left ring finger.

Ginnifer was smoking on the street, not in a public park, so technically she wasn’t See More

Kate was drinking a glass of wine the whole time. We’re not sure if it was part of her scene or her own way of passing the time, but either way we think it’s the way to go.

The red carpet was chock full of lovely ladies last night, who were mainly the stars of He’s Just Not That Into You. 

Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin and Scarlett Johanson all gathered outside for the Los Angeles premiere of the movie about how we date and how it all goes wrong! 

Ginnifer (who also stars in Big Love) opened up about her own dating disasters, "I humiliate myself on a daily basis and… I have often gone after the wrong fellas, I have often chased people who are not calling me back and making excuses for that, and I thought it was time that we, you know, get these messages out there."

After a year and a half hiatus, the HBO drama about a closeted family of polygamist Mormons leaving in mainstream society has finally returned to Sunday nights.  The show’s stars, Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloe Sevigny and Ginnifer Goodwin as well as producer Tom Hanks gathered at the Arclight Cineramadome in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of the third season.

I am in LOVE with Ginnifer’s dress, she looks amazing!  The cream colored lace is so romantic yet the cut of the dress makes it modern, her make up is also totally on point.  Chloe on the other hand went the sex pot route.  I like the design of the dress but paired with that hooker red lipstick it becomes over the top. 

Big Love returns this Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO.
