If you’re looking at these photos and thinking that Gerard Butler is a little slimmer these days, you’d be right. The Scottish actor has been shedding the pounds for his upcoming movie about a surfer. Actually Butler insists that he’s not as slim as photos make him out to be and there is nothing to worry about. Lots o’ celebs made it to the Hollywood Foreign Press luncheon including, but not limited to, Gerard Butler, Elizabeth Moss, Lea Michele and Mark Wahlberg. Even Kevin Bacon turned up! One name that was decidedly not on the list was Ricky Gervais. Oh well. He was the only interesting thing from last years awards. Gerard Butler shines up like a new penny doesn’t he? INF Daily caught up with the Scotsman earlier in the day in Naples Italy looking a bit disheveled. (That’s putting it mildly) Later on however, when Butler attended the Ischia Global Film Festival he looked rather dapper. Yeah, that’s right – we’re rumor mongering. Lady Gaga wasn’t the only one to attend the CFDA Fashion Awards last night at Lincoln Center. Gerard Butler was there as well. Don’t be alarmed by the news that Gerard Butler is up for a fashion award. It’s from Scotland. Now listen people, don’t get all up in our grill about being mean to the Scots. We don’t have anything against them it’s just that don’t have an enormous choice of people to pick from. Tilda Swinton made the list. During an Oscar pre-party, Gerard Butler almost got into a punch up with Halle Berry’s boyfriend Olivier Martinez over package size – and we don’t mean those gift basket packages either. Cheeky Butler joked that as a Scotsmen he had certain ‘advantages’ and Halle didn’t know what she was missing dating sad Frenchmen Olivier. The joke wasn’t well received.
