Demi Lovato – one of Disney’s teen queen stars – has dropped out of her tour with the Jonas Brothers and entered a treatment facility for “emotional and physical issues” according to her rep, who released an official statement to People. Apparently Demi was in some sort of physical altercation with one of her female tour members recently, and has decided to “take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help.”

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato took over Central Park for Good Morning America’s concert series today – for the second time this summer. This time around, the pop stars are promoting the release of their upcoming film Camp Rock 2. Not surprisingly, they still had a huge audience, with hundreds of loud tweens on hand to cheer as they went through the songs for the film’s soundtrack.

Joe Jonas confirmed he broke up with Demi Lovato And while they’re both giving the PR-approved lines to People (we’re great friends, lots of respect, blah blah blah) rumor is that’s not exactly how things went down. At first it was reported that Joe broke up with Demi over the phone. Which wouldn’t be unexpected – he infamously broke up with Taylor Swift in what she told Ellen DeGeneres was a "27 second phone call."

But according to gossip, Joe didn’t break up with Demi at all. He had his DAD do it. The rumor originated with one of Perez Hilton’s sources who’s a friend of Demi. And while Perez is a class-A turd, his gossip is right often enough. Given the cowardly way Joe dumped Taylor, it doesn’t seem out of character for him to have chickened out and somehow left his dad in the awkward position.

The official line, though is:

"Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one," Jonas, 20, tells PEOPLE. "I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."

Lovato, 17, took to Twitter to shoot down what she labeled erroneous reports.

"There are so many crazy rumors flying around today," she writes. "I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this." (via People)

The pair had only been dating since March (at least publicly) but Demi had gushed about Joe a lot. That gossipy friend of Demi’s also said not to count the two out yet, in terms of the future. They’re both young, so who knows. Still, we’re going to dramatically throw ourselves on the bed and have a good cry in the name of young love.

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato kicked off Good Morning America’s summer concert series at New York City’s Rumsey Playfield in Central Park this morning.

When chatting on the show, the boys mentioned that they ended up stranded in an elevator for over an hour after their concert at L.A. mall The Grove last week. Joe Jonas noted:

"Who panicked? I think we all had a moment where we were freaking out," he said. "I’m gonna avoid elevators for a little while. I’ll take the stairs for now."

Luckily they didn’t have that problem at Central Park.

In other Jonas news, In Touch is reporting that oldest Jonas Brother Kevin is already having marital problems. He and his wife of five months Danielle Deleasa are sleeping in separate beds. Never you fear though – it turns out the problem is Kevin’s extremely loud snoring. According to friends of the couple, Danielle and Kevin honestly never spent a single night together before they were married, and Danielle had no idea he snored.

“She loves her husband, but now she sleeps in a guest room when he gets too noisy.” “They are still crazy about each other,” says the pal. “But the snoring has become a big joke for their friends.” (via In Touch)

The Jonas Brothers know how to give the ladies in their life a good time…take them out for a fancy meal.

We caught up with bros Kevin and Joe and their chicks, Danielle Deleasa and Demi Lovato, after they had all attended a Michael Buble performance in Canada.

The foursome dined at the Yamato Steakhouse in Yorkville in Toronto and then were more than happy to pose and sign autographs for excited fans as they made their way home.
