After months of house-hunting, Victoria Beckham finally arrives with hubby David to show him their new Beverly Hills mansion. It’s the first time David had seen the place and he looks a bit concerned in our picture, to be honest. Hopefully he wasn’t expecting something bigger!
In scenes reminiscent of the Beatles arrival in the US over 40 years ago, hordes of fans and media greeted David and Victoria Beckham as they touched down on US soil last night. Posh n’ Becks were met with enough flashbulbs to light the Rockefeller Christmas tree when they stepped out of the British Airways terminal at LAX – and like royalty, they took it all in their stride.
The LAPD gave the couple a police escort out of the airport to their new Beverly Hills mansion. David will be introduced as the newest member of the LA Galaxy soccer team at a press conference today, while Posh does the rounds of various talk shows and radio broadcasts promoting her new denim line. But the question remains.. Will America take the Beckhams under its wing, or cast them aside like so many Brit invaders in the past (Robbie Williams, Oasis etc etc). We shall see.
The Beverly Hills Police Dept. are going out of their way to make sure the Beckhams’ swanky neighbors aren’t disturbed when Goldenballs and Co. arrive later today. The cops have posted No Parking signs for a half a mile around Chez Beckham – to keep the filthy media hordes at bay.
Let the craziness begin! After months of talk about the arrival of celebrity couple Victoria and David Beckham in the US, they are finally here…well, almost. Posh, Goldenballs and the kids sparked a media frenzy when they arrived at Heathrow Airport today, en route to Los Angeles. The new ”it” couple, Victoria and David Beckham were out and about in Spain at the weekend and, oh yes, Tom and Katie Cruise went along for the publicity ride. Becks is no longer a Real Madrid player and the media circus is heading to America as Goldenballs starts his new career with the LA Galaxy. We think the Beckhams will soon be crowned the new King and Queen of Hollywood, so it’s nice to see from these pictures that Katie and Tom already know their place, walking a few feet behind their friends while the photographers get their shots.
While wife Victoria gets on with the more mundane things, like sorting out their new home in Los Angeles, husband David Beckham decided to live it up in the fast lane and test drive some high performance cars on a racetrack in Spain. We reckon Becks loves it when Posh jets off to the US because he gets chance to do all the things she won’t let him do and have some real fun…instead of shopping with her all day.
Lets’ face it everyone, he’s a fashion icon who’d look good in anything…even one of Britney’s shocking wigs. But, just as David Beckham’s army of fans were getting used to his blonde locks(created for a fashion shoot), wife Posh has taken the clippers to his bonce and given him a buzz cut. Well, it gets hot in Los Angeles in the summer, so Becks will need something to keep him cool.
