We noticed something interesting when this season’s celebrity cast of Dancing With the Stars arrived at the studio last night. Audrina Patridge – big smile on her face. David Hasselhoff posed with a “Don’t Hassel the Hoff” shirt for us. Kyle Massey was happy, jovial, and chatty. But Bristol Palin? Bristol looked like she was about to enter the sixth circle of hell.

She managed a painfully forced, tight smile for about two seconds, and then it almost looked like she was going to cry. Seriously Bristol, it’s just a foxtrot. No one’s knocking you up before the Republican convention. See More

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough wowed the crowed this morning on Good Morning America. The pair won the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars last night. Fellow contestant and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews got more coverage throughout the season thanks to her feud with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but Nicole was clearly the one with more talent.

In fact earlier this month the DWTS judges all agreed that Nicole Scherzinger was the best dancer they’d ever had on the show, not just this season. That sealed the deal for her. The Pussycat Dolls’ lead singer obviously has a head start on most of the other contestants since she has so much dancing experience with the group, and she used it to her advantage.

Erin Andrews ended up coming in third with figure skater Evan Lysacek coming in second place. After her final dance (but before she’d been crowned the winner) Nicole enthusiastically told host Tom Bergeron, "I’m just so grateful! I’m just so flipping happy right now! … It’s such an awesome experience!"

Though she placed third, Erin Andrews had nothing but positive things to say about her experience. She’s been the victim of a very high profile stalker this year along with death threats. In a pre-taped interview she noted, "This experience has meant everything to me… I have gone through hell the past year. [Partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy] brought me back to life. He just did!"

Kate Gosselin has all the charm, grace, and subtle beauty of a horse being led to the slaughter. Sensing the inevitable, Kate’s been sending out frantic emails begging not just friends and family – but total strangers – to vote for her on Dancing With the Stars.

Kate has a sense of rhythm and dancing skill I’d describe as on par with Mr. Ed. There’s a distinct clip-cloppiness that makes me wonder if someone’s actually nailed horseshoes to her feet. Though she would have the advantage of being able to tap dance barefoot – that’s something.

Nonetheless, the heavy-hooved reality star is clearly the one heading home, and she’s absolutely frantic about it. Remember: this is Dancing With the Stars. This changes lives. It matters.

Life & Style has a copy of the email, and it’s pretty bleak. Kate starts off by mentioning how she’s had "an extra tough week with media spins and coverage I won’t elaborate on." She’s also "emotionally drained" and "BEGGING" you to vote for her this week. Not only that, but Kate actually puts a number on exactly how much you should help her. You need to vote via "TEXTING, EMAIL, and PHONE." Note the "and." Also, "COPY AND PASTE… this email and send it to at least TEN people in your address book." Oh, and also "PLEASE Call ten times, text ten times, or online unlimited…" you get the picture. You need to upend your life for this. Because Kate is not just the center of her world, but the center of your world.
