The ladies of Hollywood gathered together last night for a very honorable cause, the Unforgettable Evening, an event to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Gwyneth Paltrow was joined by Rita Wilson, Courtney Cox and Sheryl Crow  were all there to support the cause, which included the Bruce Paltrow Fund which was started in honor of Gwny’s late father who lost his battle with oral cancer.

Beyonce also performed but can we take a moment to discuss some of the fashion of evening?  B and G are still relatively young and definitely beautiful, so why on earth were they dressed so matronly?!  I understand that maybe they wanted to look a bit more demure for this particular get together but Beyonce looks like an old Greek widow and Gwyneth looks like she should be chaperoning a high school dance.  Rita Wilson just kind of looks like a mermaid.

Props to Courtney and Sheryl though, they knew how to look sophisticated and with out aging themselves.

Jennifer Aniston and friends took over Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the new year.  Jen along with Courtney Cox, Sheryl Crow, Laura Dern and all their husbands and kids rented a private villa at a Cabo resort and rang in ’09 on the sands.  John Mayer also joined the holiday crew, vacationing with his brothers and leaving the festivities a day early. 

Jen’s movie Marley & Me continues to be the number one movie at the box office! Sounds like her new year is already off to a good start.

Keri Russell looked gorgeous at last night’s Los Angeles premiere of Bedtime Stories.  The actress rocked a whitey drapey dress with a black sash and a short waved bob, so Hollywood glam!  Co-star Courtney Cox also looked fantastic in a dark blue dress.

The movie’s star, Adam Sandler, went the opposite route of glam, instead going super casual in a hoodie and jeans and Russell Brand was dressed as only Russell Brand can.

Olive Cohen is officially the most popular baby in Hollywood!  The baby daughter of Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen had a slew of celebs at her birthday party over the weekend. 

Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi all gathered at the couple’s house. They were joined by David Arquette, Jonah Hill and Dustin Hoffman.  Baby Olive turned 1-year-old, hope she remembers what a rager her special day was!

There’s nuthin’ like a good dub date, especially when one half of that foursome happens to be very high profile at the moment.  We spotted Jennifer Aniston in the back seat of Courtney Cox’s sweet whip last night en route to dinner at STK restaurant in Los Angeles; the ladies then met up with John Mayer and David Arquette. This night sounds like a pretty glamorous time to me, to quote George Costanza "they’re like the Gatsbys!".

Adam Sandler and Keri Russell?!  What a scandalous (and weird) couple!  Well you can relax because their embrace is only for the sake of their new movie, Bedtime Stories.  Filming in Los Angeles, Bedtime Stories co-stars Courtney Cox and is a fanciful story of what happens when the fairy tales that the main character (played by Adam) tells his niece and nephew start to come to life.
