All the celebs were out in force last night as the 63rd Prime Time Emmy Awards were handed out in Los Angeles. There wasn’t a single fashion misstep taken last night – the gowns were flawless, the hair and makeup was stunning and everyone had a great time. It looks like Joan Rivers and the Fashion Police crew will have their work cut out for them trying to find a worst dressed last night.

A pregnant January Jones went to get a manicure in her home town of Los Feliz yesterday. It seemed like a routine trip to the salon but as she was leaving, she needed a police escort to her car. We’re guessing she wanted a little more protection. From what, exactly, we really don’t know.

Over the weekend, Jones was treated to a baby shower in Malibu by some friends including her Mad Men co-star Christina Hendricks. The baby is due sometime in the fall, so it seems a little early for a shower. But then, January may have a few of these. This could be the first shower of many for Jones. This kid may never know who it’s father is, but it will certainly never want for anything. (Except the identity of it’s dad. Or not. Maybe)

We caught up with Liev Screiber playing in the waterpark on the west side of NYC today with his son Samuel. We have to say, for an active kind of guy, he’s sort of let himself go a bit. Look at that stomach! There must be some serious beer guzzling going on at the Schreiber residence! Granted, he looks better than 95% of the American male population but still – we hold our actors and actresses to a higher standard!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Greg Kinnear are filming a movie together in New York. They play husband and wife and actually like each other – judging by the smooching scene we witnessed today. But of course, there has to be a catch – Sarah plays a finance executive who’s the bread winner of the family. Hmmmm….wonder how long Greg’s character will stand for that. Can’t you just smell a plot twist in the air?

The film also stars Christina Hendricks of Mad Men fame and Pearce Brosnan. It’s the screen version of the guilty pleasure book by Allison Pearson.

Eight years before she made it big as iconic secretary Joan Holloway on Mad Men, Christina Hendricks was just a struggling 24-year-old model trying to make ends meet. And sometimes those ends meet in Playboy. The mag tweeted pictures of the actress in what is supposed (?) to be a raunchy summer scene with a bronzed, greased up hot guy and a drunken clown. We don’t know why. Christina is actually a natural blonde (though she’s now famous for her red locks), however we can’t help but assume she’s wearing  a cheap wig.

Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks tied the knot this weekend in an intimate wedding ceremony at her favorite New York restaurant.

The actress wed fellow actor Geoffrey Arend in front of a small group of close family and friends at the Il Buco Italian eaterie in downtown Manhattan.

And she looked simply stunning in her Carolina Herrera wedding gown.

Geoffrey is one lucky guy!
