INF Daily caught up with Kate Gosselin and her twin daughters Mady and Cara as they indulged in an afternoon of shopping at Old Navy yesterday.

Celebrity mom Kate Gosselin was back to her daily duties again today after helping daughters Cara and Mady celebrate their ninth birthdays on Thursday.

It seems the evening party at the family home in PA went off without incident after Kate tried to ban dad Jon from the night of fun.

Jon helped his kids cut their cake but left at the end of the night and checked into a local hotel.

And this morning it was left to Kate to get all of the clan up for school and ship them off to the bus.

Unfortunately, when asked how the party went, Kate was in no mood to talk about it.

We think she just got out of the wrong side of the bed…AGAIN!

Kate Gosselin was back doing mommy duties today as she dropped her two eldest kids, Cara and Mady at the school bust stop.

The twins are nine today, but dad Jon was nowhere to be seen after he spent the night in NY with his girlfriend, Hayley Glassman.

Kate has told Jon she doesn’t want him at the family home in PA today because it would be too ”stressful” for the children.

But Jon says he will be picking his kids up from school, and has a cake and presents for them on their birthdays.

We can feel some fireworks are about to go off…and maybe even a visit from the local sheriff.

Soon-to-be-divorced Kate Gosselin had some mommy time with daughter Cara today, taking a trip to the bank and the local UPS store, where she collected her weekly arrival of fan(hate)mail.

It’s not sure what the kids know yet about mom and dad’s plans to split, but both Kate and Jon have spoken of how their children’s welfare comes first.

Meanwhile, TLC tv chiefs have laughed off rumors that when the show starts filming again after a short break, Jon’s on-off girlfriend Deanna Hummel will have a guest role.

Absolutely not true they say.
