A sexily-clad Britney Spears and her team of dancers are right now ready to go onstage in San Diego, in her first live performance for nearly three years. Always on the lookout for new and interesting angles and perspectives from which to shoot celebrities, our intrepid photographers got on the business side of a Carl’s Jr drive-thru window to shoot Britney as she bought a soda (no burger, no curly fries) with her assistant Alli Sims. Britney was in a playful mood and she shot our photogs smiles and waves. She also seemed quite taken with Alli’s new bracelet.

The moment of truth is getting closer and closer for Britney Spears, as she prepares to perform for a live audience again for the first time in nearly three years. Britney has been working out and dancing every day for weeks now and tomorrow is the big night when she faces her fans again at a House of Blues concert in San Diego. We wish her all the best.

Britney Spears showed up at the Millenium Dance Studios in LA today wearing (the usual) cowboy hat, Robin Hood-style suede boots and, we spotted, white panties. Her fashion sense gets stranger, but she is looking healthier than she has for a while – and there are still rumors of live performances in the not too distant future as she tries to jump start her career. This is what furious Jamie Spears thinks of daughter Britney’s story that she flashed her foo-foo, hammered the booze and shaved her head – because her manager Larry Rudolph thought it was good PR. Britney Spears has reportedly dumped Larry for encouraging her crazy behavior. But Jamie says it’s all BS and the Toxic singer was a train wreck waiting to happen.

Okay, so the bad news is that Britney Spears’ fashion sense seems to be going from bad to the worst – the cowboy hat thing is sooooooooo 2003. But the good news is that her hair seems to be growing back thick and fast, and we reckon that within a month she might be ditching the wig altogether. More bad news though..
