With the presidential inauguration less than a week away, celebrities are coming out welcome our new president to office.

Yesterday we spotted Diddy, Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg leaving Dream Bigger Studios in Los Angeles.  They were gathered together by Ashton Kutcher as part of a montage he’s producing to celebrate President-Elect Obama. 

Apparently Ashlee and Michelle (who’s coming back to Gossip Girl!!) were feeling frail as both of them were being lead by the hand!

Ashlee Simpson wrapped up 2008 by going to get her teeth cleaned!  The new mom stepped out in an polka dotted jacket and a pair of Uggs as to go to a dentist appointment in Los Angeles yesterday. 

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson took to their website to show off their new bundle of joy, baby Bronx.

 "We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz." reads the site.  They also encourage their fans to donate to charities such as the Richie Madden Foundation in the spirit of the season. 

We spotted Ashlee Simpson and a friend getting in some last minute holiday shopping in Los Angeles yesterday.  While I think Ash looks great for just having a baby, I’m not feeling the new hair color.  Do you like Ashlee better with the bright ginger hair or as the typical L.A. blonde?

Ashlee Simspon and Pete Wentz welcomed a little boy Thursday night named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.  "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson told People magazine.

The couple announced their pregnancy just a few weeks after their May wedding.  Congratulations to the new parents!

"I am on call permanently right now. She’s at the very end, and it could happen at any point," Pete Wentz told Ryan Seacrest of his wife/baby mama Ashlee Simpson.  "She is very pregnant." 

Pete went onto say that since Ashlee is blooming with baby she’s getting pretty uncomfortable.  "She [feels] hot all the time," he said joking that the couple’s thermostat is set to 34 degrees. "I think she wants to just be not pregnant anymore … It’s a struggle to go up and down the stairs. Going out in public is insane."

The couple, who announced their pregnancy this spring, have not yet picked out a name for the baby.  "I want to meet [the baby] first…My friend said it – you’ve gotta have a baby with a name that could be a rock star or a senator, so he’ll get work either way."

She may be with child but that didn’t stop Ashlee Simpson from having fun at the VMAs last night!  I say "with child" but it may in fact be with children!

Rapper Tyga (Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy’s cousin and Fall Out Boy friend)  is reporting “They’re having twins! They’re really happy.”

Hmm…Ashlee is looking pretty large and Pete Wentz did accidentally slip and refer to the baby as "them." “That was waaaaay wrong,” he said. "I meant to say ‘the baby’ and said ‘them’ ’cause it was 7 a.m. Not in a BS way: I can tell you we are absolutely not having twins. I totally misspoke ’cause we dunno if it’s a boy or girl. I try to speak vaguely, and I totally blew it on this one.”

Well Pete was the one who vehemently denied that Ashlee was pregnant in the first place, so yeah, it’s twins!

Nicole Richie and Ashlee Simpson are so exciting.  They go to Barney’s, they sit on the couch…they play with their Blackberries.  Yawn.  Check out the mom and mom-to-be going wild yesterday afternoon.  BTW when did Ashlee get so pregnant?!
