Just a week ago it was announced that Anne Hathaway had split from boyfriend of four years, Italian businessman Raffaelo Follieri.  Raffaelo had previously been in trouble for passing bad checks and now has just been arrested in NYC for wire fraud and money laundering! And get this, he is being accused for falsely representing himself as the chief financial officer of the Vatican and attempting to sell properties of the Catholic church at a below market price. See ya in hell in Raffie!

Sooo, speaking of Anne Hathaway she has finally broken up with that no good boyfriend of hers. Anne decided to end things with Raffaello Follieri after four years due to his shady business practices (dude’s been passing some bad checks and is currently settling out of court) that are brining her down.  A source said, “It’s heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she’s devastated that it’s come to this, but she really didn’t have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation.”  Good for you Anne, drop that guy like a bad habit!  No guy’s worth ruining your career over (that is, unless he plans on writing you some good checks any time soon), you’re a lady of the millennium!

The highly anticipated Get Smart premiered at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California last night.  Based on the iconic 1960s television show, Get Smart stars Steve Carell (who was there with his wife Nancy Walls) as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway as his partner Agent 99. Co-stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Terry Crews and his family in matching salmon colored outfits (I love a family with a theme), and Alan Arkin with son Adam all walked the red carpet.  Also on hand were Office co-star Jenna Fisher, Dancing with the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff, as well Giada De Laurentiis. Maybe its because her boyfriend was caught passing bad checks?? Nah! Who cares about him?! Anne’s downtrodden expression is all an act, as we caught her on the set of Bride Wars currently filming in NYC.  Anne and co-star Kate Hudson play best friends turned enemies after they plan their weddings to be on the same day. 

We caught up with Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway checking out play back on the set of their new movie and looking rather pleased.  The two are filming Bride Wars in Boston. 

New BFFs Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway were yukking it up on the set of their upcoming movie Bride Wars in New York today. We wonder if Kate was in such a good mood becuase of her rekindled romance with Owen Wilson?

Anne Hathaway and her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri were spotted leaving The Waverly Inn in the West Village last night.  Although I think Anne looks very cute, something about her poses bring to mind John Mayer’s crazy moves the last time he was photographed outside The Waverly.  Must be something special in the drinks they serve at that place…
