We caught up with Russell Crowe and costar Kevin Durand as they shot thrilling new scenes for the upcoming period action movie, Robin Hood, in Wales, UK, yesterday. The film also stars Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian, and is set for release next year. Crowe and Robin Hood director Ridley Scott are trying to recreate the massive success they had with 2000's Gladiator, which took home 5 Oscars including Best Picture, with their latest historical epic. But their last collaboration, Body of Lies in 2008, was a disaster at the box office, and according to reports, there is massive tensions between the two on the current set. These scenes look amazing though, so hopefully they can work out their differences and give us another hit like Gladiator.
