Jessica Simpson has a full schedule while she's in New York.  Yesterday we spotted Jessica, dressed in red and holding her dog Daisy, on her way to shoot a Macy's ad.  Later when we spotted Jess she had made a change into a dark dress and partied with friend/hair stylist Ken Paves at Dos Caminos. 

Jessica has just signed a multi-year contract design a line of modern dresses for her line, um...I hope they don't look like the one has on, it's ugly!  Seriously, Jess looked great in red, but that black number has way too much going on for her tiny frame.

      

Somebody call up PETA! Animal abuse! We spotted fashion designer Valentino loading his yacht in Sardinia, Italy over the weekend and was dangling his dogs like they were the day's catch!  Valentino and his assistants held both a pug and some other kind of little dog (a yorkie, perhaps?) by their leash while they're collars were on...I know I can't really speak for a dog, but I'm guessing that HURT!  Jeez, those little guys probably don't weight more than a few pounds each, you could easily strangle them that way :(  I don't think Mr. Valentino would like it too much if someone lifted him up by his stupid silk tie!

     

What makes a super model even more attractive?  A pair of cute dogs!  We spotted Agyness Deyn walking some pups with a friend in Soho yesterday.  I dig Agy's plaid dress, but the hat and ankle socks are a little too Debbie Gibson for me.  The foursome enjoyed some Starbucks and then sat down for a meal.

I don't know if if this is the real Morris or an animatronic stand in, but he's convincing either way!  (Just sayin' cuz there is no way my cat would still enough to put glasses on her.  Believe me, I've tried.)  First a baby, now a cat in a bow tie; this blog is just getting cuter by the minute!

     

Celebrity pug, Mimi LaRue, has sadly passed away at the age of 11.  Mimi was the beloved dog of actress Tori Spelling.  "I'm devastated," Tori tells People magazine of her pet.  "She was not just a dog but a fashion icon and legend amongst Hollywood dogs...She received fan e-mail on a regular basis, and I often joked she got sent more designer clothes than me!" Mimi had been suffering from medical problems for years but died in the comfort of her home surrounded by Tori, husband Dean, Liam, 1, and newborn Stella.
"She was a loving pet and a true diva to the end," Tori adds.  Rest in peace Mimi La Rue...don't fade away.

We spotted Rachel Bilson bringing her dogs to doggie daycare in Los Angeles; the white fluffy one being the famous Thurman Murman.  Cute girl, cute dogs; that's pretty much an unbeatable combo Rachel!  Just throw a baby in the mix and we'd "oohing" and "aawing" for days!
