Britney turns herself in

Things just get sh@#*ier for Britney Spears. The Britster last night gave herself up to the LAPD where she was booked on misdemeanor hit and run charges. Brit called in at Van Nuys jail where she was fingerprinted and had her mugshot taken. Sources tell INFdaily the singer was cooperative and courteous. The charges follow an incident on August 6 when Britney was in a private parking lot in the San Fernando Valley and hit a parked car. This really won't help her fight to get her kids back.
