We spotted Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard shopping for toys in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn yesterday afternoon.  The couple stopped into LuLu's Toy Shop and picked up a stuffed penguin, perhaps a gift for their daughter Ramona?  Hopefully Ramona isn't a super baby and hasn't stumbled across this blog while checking her email this afternoon, I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for her!

      

Christian Bale looked calm, cool and collected after a week of media frenzy and familial disputes.  Although initial reports claimed that Christian had physically assaulted his mother and sister, it was revealed that his police questioning was now to due to the result of a very loud argument.  Some sources are saying the incident started when Christian felt attacked by his mother and his sister after making comments about his wife Sibi Blazic while others are now saying that his family was asking him to help them get out of debt. 

Christian showed up to the Barcelona premiere of The Dark Knight like a trooper, managing a smile and even stopping to sign autographs. His co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal was equally delightful on the red carpet, looking completely stunning in a floor-length black and blue gown. 

     

Maggie Gyllenhaal sexed up the red carpet last night for the London premiere of the Dark Knight.  Dressed in a backless black silk catsuit, Maggie wowed crowds as the new Rachel Dawes, taking over the role from Katie Holmes.  Many people were happy for the switch, since Katie Holmes doesn't really have that great of a theatrical background still others favored Katie's "earnestness" over Maggie's swagger.  Personally, I'd take Maggie Gyllz over Joey Potter any day, what's your vote?

    

It was a celeb studded red carpet last night as The Dark Knight premiered in New York City.  Christian Bale (Batman) and co-stars, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman were all on hand to promote their new film.  Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick were all there to catch new the Batman as well as reality star Lauren Conrad who seems to be on a different coast every day.  The Dark Knight opens in theaters on Friday but to check out a trailer click here.

         

Fiances Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard took their little daughter Ramona for a walk through their Brooklyn neighborhood yesterday.  The 18-month-old tot looked precious in her purple dress and rainbow socks, and if she has a hyphenated last name, she will have more As in her name than one could ever want!

      

One half of the Olsen Twins came out last night to Calvin Klein's First Look party at the grand reopening of The New Museum in New York City.  Ashley showed up looking pretty fantastic; she's like a Polly Pocket-sized model.  MK wasn't there, guess she was at home nursing thee olde kidney. Lance Armstrong showed up, although he seemed to keep his distance.  What is the deal with them!

We caught up with Maggie Gyllenhaal attending the opening of the new International Flagship Chopard Boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City. And we noticed one thing...a possible baby bump. There has been no official announcement, but has Maggie got a bun in the oven, do you think?

Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal really is a yummy mummy. And who says so? Well, daughter Ramona, of course. When feeding time comes around, Maggie knows how to keep Ramona happy and it gives a new meaning to ''eating out.''
