The high in New York City today is approximately 85 degrees and with the humidity it felt about 100; I was sweating in the shade at 9:30 this morning.  

I have not left this wonderful air conditioned office since then because I was afraid I would instantaneously set on fire if I walked outside, so it blows my mind that Katie Holmes is dressed in leggings, a scarf and a black leather jacket! 

Katie must be hopping from one a-c'ed room to another because there is no way in hell she could be outside like that today, she'd cook herself in her jacket!  With that being said though, going to rehearsal has never looked so cool.

      

Katie Holmes took a break from her normal blacks and grays and changed it up with a pattern yesterday.  We spotted Katie on her way from rehearsal in Manhattan in a stripped wrap-around cardigan, leggings and metallic flats.  Stripes and metallics?  Katie is gettin' wild! 

     

Awww, lil Suri Cruise, we love you!  Even though in recent outings she's been covering her ears and burying her face into her mother, Suri was all smiles yesterday.  Katie and Suri arrived to a line of photographers at Chelsea Piers and Suri made sure to wave to them all.  There must be something about those trampolines that brings her a certain Zen.

We spotted Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise picking out some new items at Bon Point in Manhattan over the weekend.  Katie tries some headbands on Suri and Suri goes for a little toddle around the store.  How I wish my day were that simple!

Suri Cruise HATES New York!  Every time we see the little one lately she's covering her face or her eyes and just has this generally expression of "Mom get me the eff outta here!".  Poor kid, little does she know that this is just the beginning of her involuntary fame. We spotted Suri bundled in Katie's arms as they arrived to Chelsea Piers yesterday, I hope she at least got to go on the trampolines again.

     

Katie Holmes is often accused of being sort of wooden or robotic, but she tried her best to shake it all out for the sake of her daughter.  Katie and Suri made a stop at Chelsea Piers in New York City yesterday and little Suri was able to pull her mom onto the trampoline!  Check out how adorable Suri is (Katie's a bit awkward) as she bounces her cares away.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise have been tearing up NYC!  They saw two shows, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, and even went for helicopter ride yesterday.  Suri has been impeccably outfitted the entire time in little dresses and an array of Mary Jane shoes...unfortunately I can't say the same for Katie who went out three days in a row in pegged jeans. 

It seems that the New York crowds were a bit much for Suri Cruise.  We spotted little Suri with mama Katie leaving a performance of The Little Mermaid on Broadway last night.  Suri may have had a good time inside with Ariel and Sebastian but she did not like all the noise outside and covered up her ears!  Hey, I feel you on that one Sur, Times Square can be one of the most annoying places on earth, but you better get used to it since your mom is calling it home for a couple of months!

     

Where's the flood, Katie?  Katie Holmes seems to be really committed to those rolled up pants, wearing them nearly every time she goes out, do you think she'll start a new trend?  We spotted the actress on her way to rehearsals for All My Sons in her new trademark pants and a pair of red, glittery Mary Janes that look like something she could have borrowed from Suri's closet.

    

Can you believe that someone hired Joey f'n Potter to star in a Broadway play?!  It's ridiculous but I guess the producers of All My Sons were just so blown away by Katie's work in First Daughter that they had no choice but to give her the part.
We're going to be seeing a lot of Katie Holmes (seen here leaving rehearsals) and her creepy hair cut round these parts.  She makes her debut in All My Sons in October and the play will run through January (well, presuming it goes well); Katie and Tommy will be taking New York by storm! I guess the one good thing that will come of this is more Suri Cruise sightings! Yay!
