Happy Independence Day blog fans!  July 4, is the day we set aside each year to commemorate when we won our independence from England way back in 1776, U-S-A!

But besides celebrating our freedom we can also celebrate the other things that make this country great, like celebrities.  What would our society be today with out Paris, LiLo, Brit Brit, Heidi and all the other reality whores, I mean uber talented stars? Shows like Gossip Girl and songs like Lollipop are woven into the fabric of this great nation. 

So tomorrow afternoon when you're snacking on a hot dog, popping open a PBR or watching the fireworks with a loved one, think about your favorite celeb...sure, "talent" may be a term to use loosely this day in age, but what the hell else would you do all day at work if you didn't have these fools to look at?!

Sean Preston and Jayden James have a new baby cousin! We spotted aunt Britney stopping at a convenience store after paying her sister Jamie Lynn and niece Maddie Briann a visit.  Do you think JL is going to let Brit babysit?

    

Could it be that time y'all?!  Is the baby a'comin'?!  We spotted Britney going into the hospital in McComb, Miss. this morning.  We're not confirmed on whether Jamie Lynn is in labor or what, but it  seems like Spears: The Next Generation is on its way!  Check back with INF for all the baby details!

 

Britney and Michael Jackson, along with dozens of other A-listers turned out to wish legendary fashion icon Christian Audigier happy 50th birthday in Los Angeles last night. Brit sat casually with friends including her agent Jason Trawick in a VIP section of the Peterson Automotive Museum, where the bash was held. Her dad Jamie sat a few yards away keeping a watchful eye on her. Reclusive Jackson was more camera shy, and only stepped onstage to wish the fashion legend happy birthday as gold confetti fell from the ceiling, before he was whisked away by his security. Other attendees were Snoop Dogg, Fergie, Kim Kardashian and French singer Johnny Halliday... Quite a party!

      

Britney looks healthier and more put together each time we see her.  We caught up with the recovering pop star in Beverly Hills yesterday as she was arriving at the Lisa Kline store on Robertson Blvd.  Usually it meant bad news if Brit went on one of her crazy shopping sprees, but this time it looks like she's got it under control, especially while under the watchful eye of her conservator dad Jamie.  Keep up the good work Brit, we want to see a new video soon!

   

We spotted Britney enjoying the surf and sun with some friends at Mel Gibson's Costa Rican ranch over the weekend.  Brit Brit seemed to be at ease as she sipped on cans of Coke and smoked some cigarettes.  There has been speculation that Britney is preggers (due to her semi-bloated tummy)  but that to me that bulge just looks like she ate big burrito or something.  I'm still not sure as to why Mel Gibson is lending helping hand to Brit, but her vacation ain't over yet, there's still time for Mel's great rehabilitation plans to come out!

       

We spotted Brit Brit leaving Bally Total Fitness in Culver City yesterday, with a bottle of Dasani and a copy of the new Radiohead album In Rainbows in hand.  Even though Britney has on one of her mania hoodies, she's replaced her "purple drank" with water and it looks like she's trying to expand her musical horizons, I'm impressed Brit. 

    

Britney will regain more visitation time with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, although it is not clear just how much yet.  "It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless," said K.Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. "We are seeing signs of her progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin ... The children are doing great." 
Britney did not talk to the press but was said to be smiling and holding hands with her parents and her lawyer Blair Berk.  Jamie and Lynne Spears released a statement saying "We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress."  Good luck Brit!  We hope you have a great Mother's Day with the tater tots!

Britney is back on track!  After making an apperance at Jamie Lynn's baby shower over the weekend, we spotted Brit hitting the gym in Los Angeles yesterday.  Britney has been rehearsing for a new music video and will make another cameo on How I Met Your Mother.  Could Britney's wild ride finally be coming to an end? 

    

We spotted Britney and grandmama Lynne hopping on a private jet in Liberty, Mississippi yesterday.  Brit was back in the South for Jamie Lynn's baby shower the previous day; a ladies-only party at Lynne's home in Kentwood.  How refreshing is it to see Britney bonding with the fam instead of bonding with Adnan during some aimless driving?  Maybe the old Britney really is fighting for a comeback!
