Nick Hogan was released from a Pinellas County Jail in Florida late last night after serving 166 days of his 8 month jail sentence. 

Nick was picked up by his sister Brooke who embraced him tightly as he left the prison.  "Not seeing him for six months has been really, really hard," Brooke writes on her MySpace page. "He always knows how to make me feel better or make me smile when I need it, and it's been tough without having him there to hug me just at the right time, or crack a joke when I'm havin' a bad day."

She continues, "There have been a lot of supporters and a lot of haters that have come up to me and said things that have helped and things that made me feel like I couldn't make it through another day... Some people wish terrible, terrible things on us and say the most nasty comments that I can't even repeat on here... It really hurts.

"I understand people have their own opinion, but most of the people that come up to us don't know the whole story or how much we really, really love John [the victim]," she says. "It's really sad because we're not bad people. We're just going through a really hard time, and so is John's family."

Nick was sentenced to jail after pleading no contest to reckless driving charges stemming from an August 2007 crash that left his best friend, John Graziano, in critical condition.

       

We spotted Brooke Hogan and her new man Jonathan Prater walking around NYC yesterday (which is insane, cuz it's been like 5 million degrees here for the last 3 days) and although they seemed content to be together, they wanted nothing to do with our questions about her brother Nick! 

Hulk Hogan and his new girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel and Brooke Hogan and her new man Jonathan had a double date pool side yesterday at a hotel in Los Angeles.  Watch the Hogans in live action as they frolic in the pool, have some lunch and oil each other down!

      

We spotted Brooke Hogan and a mystery man named Jonathan in over the weekend.  The two were beating the heat poolside in Los Angeles, which I am incredibly jealous of as it's been raining all day in NYC!  Kudos to Brooke for rocking a more natural look, I think she actually looks a lot cuter with less make up, yet another thing to be jealous of!

     

Ready for take-off! We caught up with Brooke Hogan and mom Linda enjoying the sun and surf in Miami at the weekend, and they sure looked like they were having a great time. Brooke was in and out of the sea and even treated fellow sun worshippers to an impromptu workout session. Video to follow...

When your Brooke Hogan, your dad is your personal U-Haul. Brooke and beefy dad Hulk spent sometime moving into her new, Miami Beach apartment yesterday.  My guess is that all Brooke carried were her Louis Vuitton purses.

Nouveau riche famewhore Brooke Hogan was out shopping in L.A. yesterday, shocking.  Does this bitch do anything else besides spend money?  She's going to make a fantastic Real Housewife of Orange County some day.
