Wait!! That's no mystery girl.. That's Hilary Duff!!

We spotted Hilary Duff on the set of Gossip Girl filming in New York City yesterday. Hil is set to play Olivia Burke.. a famous movie star who enrolls in NYU hoping to have a "normal" college experience and ends up rooming with Vanessa (played by Jessica Szohr) for their freshman year. And.. for those of us who watch Gossip Girl regularly.. we know that there is nothing "normal" about these Gossipers lifestyle! Good luck Olivia!

Can't wait until the new season starts on September 14th (write it down!)

Judging by the pics below.. it looks to me that sparks are flying between Olivia and Daniel Humphreys.. I wonder how S is going to feel about this one.. XOXO GG!

     

Blake Lively and co-star Leighton Meester hit up Manhattan's Upper East Side this morning as they filmed the latest scenes for Gossip Girl in the city.

Blake and Leighton slipped into some slinky dresses before they got in front of the cameras.

But we couldn't help notice Leighton had a pair of Ugg boots on her feet...in 80 degree heat. Is she crazy..??

Blake Lively looked stunning in a one-shouldered pink dress as she stood outside of The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City last night.

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley had some company on their dinner date last night.  The Gossip couple left the Waverly Inn last night with none other than Miramax head Harvey Weinstein!  Maybe Harvey is going to turn Blake and Penn into real movie actors!  This is like Entourage!

    

Wowzers.  The cast of Gossip Girl gets steamy as they cover the newest issue of Rolling Stone.  In an article titled "The Nasty Thrill", author Jason Guy describes the pandemonium of following the cast around-

 “There were many kids from local private schools, foreign tourists and tons of paparazzi. It’s very strange to see a mob of paparazzi photograph Blake and Serena in character as they film an outdoor scene. It’s as if the reality of the show exists behind two lenses — in real time and TV time. All the actors enjoy the outside stuff because of the fans, too. It’s like playing on stage or something. More energy, more excitement and the sense that anything could happen. And sometimes it does. There is no such thing as a closed set in NYC!”

Not only is Georgina Sparks back in town but there are couple of new players on the Upper East Side.  Check out Tamara Feldman who will return to play socialite Poppy Lifton and Armie Hammer, who will play European socialite Gabriel Serrano; a dashing young man who makes a play for Serena.

Michelle Trachtenberg looks, dare I say, fierce in her arctic parka.  I am so glad she is back to stir shit up with the Gossip gang!

J/k guys!  Although we can see Blake as plain as day getting shoved into the back of a cop car, it's not for real.  Blake, aka Serena Van der Woodsen, shot some scenes for an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl this afternoon and looks like S has gotten herself into a bit of trouble; do you think Georgina might have something to do with this???

     

We spotted Blake Lively and Penn Badgley breaking up their little love nest yesterday afternoon.  The Gossip Girl couple spent the weekend in a Midtown Manhattan Hotel in honor of Valentine's Day and finally returned to reality yesterday. 

It looks like Blake and Penn lavished each other with gifts as they were carrying out bouquets of colorful roses and a large framed picture.  Penn's really got his hands full, he's totally the flower bitch.

      

They really do look like mother and daughter!

Blake Lively and Kelly Rutherford were busy shooting scenes for upcoming episodes of Gossip Girl in windy New York City yesterday.  Blake, the gracious actress she is, stopped to talk to fans and pose for pictures. 

Kelly is definitely showing her pregnancy these days.  When you look at her from the front it's not that obvious but when turns to the side, whoa! She's a lady with baby!

I hope these episodes are good because they won't start airing again until March 2!  I'm dying to know what Chuck will do next...and what about that mystery bastard child up in Boston?  Give me some answers Gossip Girl!!

     

Blake Lively took a break from Gossip Girl to hop overseas for the Berlin premiere of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. 

Starring Robin Wright Penn, Pippa tells the story of a woman whose older husband moves her from New York City to a boring retirement community and she must now reconcile her wild youth with her secure and standard life; Robin plays the current day Pippa while Blake plays the younger Pippa.

Co-starring Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder and Alan Arkin (neither where there) the film will open to U.S. audiences this spring.
