Audrina Patridge put away The Hills drama for an evening and instead came out to support a project that's important to her, animal adoption.

Audrina is the latest PETA spokesperson and this time she is speaking out about the need to rescue animals for pets, rather than buy them from a breeder.

The reality star posed up with her new billboard, which shows her wearing angel wings and holding a small dog, on Robertson Blvd. in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.  Audrina told PETA, "I wanted to get involved with PETA because I've always been passionate about animals, and I think this is a great way to make people and all my fans aware of all the animals that need a home. And a lot of people go to pet stores and breeders to buy their animals, but you should adopt, so go to an animal shelter and rescue a dog."

     

We spotted Audrina Patridge today (although it's really tomorrow because they in the future in Australia) livin' it up down under.  The reality star that just won't quit is currently spending some time in Sydney, Australia in addition to developing her own reality/competition show for MTV.

Audrina posed up with MTV Australia host Darren McMullen as they stood aboard the Southern Cloud in Sydney Harbor.  Audi will be hosting the red carpet for the 2009 Australian VMAs; tune into that if you can for some scintillating commentary.

     

HA HA HA!  Oh, we are friends and we're having fun!  This is our life and it is so awesome!  Cake...handbags...shoes...sunglasses....yaaay.

Oh, the vapidness.  Can you imagine these two women, who used to hate each other no less, are actually capable of thinking and then talking?  I'm not sold.  Luckily Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth were able to involve a prop to make their "conversation" more realistic as they filmed a scene for The Hills yesterday afternoon.

The reality starlets picked up a cake at Sweet Lady Jane's bakery in WeHo yesterday and apparently it was hilarious.  Lo should laugh while she can, this is the last season of The Hills and while Audrina is getting some kind of spin off, I doubt Lo-Lo could carry her own show...I will truly miss that vacant look in her eyes.

We spotted Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad hanging around Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. Per usual LC was in royal blue and carrying around that tired Chanel purse while Audrina had a vacant smile and touched her hair a lot. The frenemies grabbed lunch at Crustacean restaurant where they inevitably sipped out of straws and stared at each other over long, mindless pauses.  Then they went home and stared at the wall.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Audrina draws inspiration from Daisy Duke.  We spotted the reality "star" leaving Bardot in Los Angeles last night and getting into her new, orange muscle car.  I think if Audie is going to ride around in a General Lee look-a-like then she should probably start dressing the part too; I fully expect to see her in short-shorts and a tied up shirt the next time she's out.

Tsk, tsk.

Reality star Audrina Patridge (another strapless jumpsuit!) admitted to us that she has already broke her New Year's resolution!  Where's ya will power, girl?

It looks like Audrina Patridge has finally moved on from Lauren Conrad and the rest of The Hills crew.  Once the background player on the scripted reality show, Audrina now is a main character and it will be only a matter of time before she becomes the narrator at the opening credits.

Audrina's so done with LC, you know the one she didn't call a slut, that she can go shopping by herself!  We spotted Auds at Betsey Johnson in Los Angeles yesterday and she didn't seem to mind that she was alone; I mean why would she when she's got those Hills check rolling in!

       

So Audrina Patridge and Ozzy Osbourne hang now? Well maybe "hang" isn't that right word but both were on hand for the Galin Auto Sports opening event.  The home of Pimp My Ride held a star-studded bash in Hollywood over the weekend in order to raise money for the Boys and Girls club and United Cerebral Palsy and Friends & Helpers. 

GAS auctioned off customized cars, signed guitars and featured performances from Dave Navarro's side project/super group Camp Freddy.  And guess who was in the front taking the whole thing in (with iPhone in hand)? None other than Hills star Audrina!  Check out Ozzy and Dave and Audrina rocking out to "Crazy Train"!

Remember the golden years of The Hills when everyone got along?  Ok, me neither but there was a time when Lauren did have more than one friend.  Those days have seemingly to coming to an end as rumors are flying that LC has been hooking up with Audrina's ex, Justin Bobby. 

Despite their rocky friendship, Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge were all spotted at Winston's in Los Angeles last night to tape the show.  Apparently Audrina arrived and left separately from LC and Lo. 

Ew, Justin Bobby? WHY??? 

Whitney had the right idea to move the eff out and get her own show; these ladies are starting to border on pathetic.

    

Anyone watch The Hills last night?  I know, it's getting kind of old, but I still haven't completely given up on force fed dramz.  I think the best part of the evening was Audrina and Lo's little discourse on the state of their friendship, mainly that there isn't any.  Sure, Audrina can be kind of vapid but Lo has all the cattiness of a snobby 15-year-old.  You know the types, they may play nice for the moment, but they really aren't giving in to any genuine friendship with someone who's not good enough (when you go to an all-girls high school you practically become an expert on this kind of behavior).

After Lo basically ditches Audrina's backyard birthday party, Lo tells Audrina that the two don't click.  Lo says she tries to be her friend but that Audrina doesn't reciprocate the love.  Audrina basically tells her to suck it and that they'll "never be friends."  Lo has now told US Weekly that because Audrina called her "super bitchy"  she doesn't want to talk to her anymore. "She has taken it to the level where she's name calling. I have never done that and don't plan to."  Lo is so dignified.

We see Audrina here at a pool party hosted by rapper T.I. in Las Vegas, clearly not bothered by any of the conflict with her MTV friends.  Check out the clip below from last night's epie to see the uncomfortable conversation go down. (about the half way mark)
