Apparently Kim Kardashian now merits a police escort when she shops at Chanel. “Merits” – or “needs” – I’m not sure. Is this a move to make her look important, or is there some sort of threat against Kim’s safety? It’s safe to say she’s one of the most loathed celebs in the country right now, but the cops seem a little extreme. Whatever happened to a bunch of beefy security dudes?

Kim was shopping for bags, but what’s more interesting is the head wear she’s donning. It’s a $165 “three strand evil eye head piece” from Nicole Richie’s House Of Harlow 1960 line. Between the evil eye at the center of the thing, the security guards and the police officers, it looks like Kim’s got herself covered.
