Well it only took like a thousand days and five hundred ring shots, but someone has FINALLY confirmed that she and Olivier Martinez are engaged. Naturally it isn’t Halle, but rather a rep for the store that designed her ring.

“A rep for jewelry designer Gurhan tells PEOPLE that Olivier Martinez, Berry’s boyfriend of more than a year, has given her a diamond-and-emerald engagement ring.”

Ahhhh, give us proposal details! Gotta give Halle and Olivier props for the ring though – it’s unusual, and boy was it easy to argue it wasn’t really an engagement ring. She’ll have something pretty and incredibly unique to wear on her hand for a long time.
