Yikes – North Carolina plays it old school!

We showed you pictures of Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans ice skating with her son before she was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order on Monday.

Here she is yesterday afternoon in court – unfortunately this was no arrest, pay a fine and leave situation. She had to spend the night in jail. Jenelle was in classic jail attire that you hardly see outside of movies. Black and white stripes – and leg shackles.

That’s pretty severe. Why don’t they just lock on a ball and chain, too? Complete the look. Day-um.

Evans’ lawyer acknowledged she was accused of sending a text to her former roommate who currently has a protective order against her. Her arrest warrant claims Jenelle uploaded a link to her own fan website that contained nude photos of her former roommate.

Jenelle was released after she posted $1,000 bond at her court appearance. She could be facing up to 75 days in jail if found guilty.
