The last weekend before Christmas is a jam-packed one for most, and not surprisingly, the Cruise-Holmes family is no exception. And in addition to all the usual Christmas festivities, it was also Katie Holmes’ 33rd birthday yesterday. Lots to do!

Poor Suri was dragged along for three late nights in a row. Friday night was the Nutcracker, Saturday evening the Rockettes’ Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Sunday was a birthday party for Katie at Buddakan.

In between all that, Tom and Katie actually spent a little alone time together. So what’d they do? They went to a dance class. Fun… yes. Romantic? Probably not. Tom Cruise-appropriate? Definitely.

Also, let’s talk about Katie’s birthday jumpsuit. Not okay. That is not how you say “thanks for the party.” That’s how you say “I don’t really like you.” And let’s also notice how Tom – who’s a few inches shorter than Katie – is nearly her same height, despite her wearing some crazy high footwear. Insecure much?
