In case you were one of the die-hard romantics really pulling for Russell Brand and Katy Perry, hoping and praying that yesterday Russell merely “forgot” to put on his wedding ring, I’m about to seriously bum you out.

Today INF Daily’s photogs caught Brand leaving his friend’s home, and that finger didn’t have a ring on it. Russell did make an attempt to hid his left hand in his coat pocket, but our eagle-eyed photog caught a glimpse of his bare finger when he took his hand out while approaching his car door.

It looks like the curtain is falling on the most romantic love story ever told.
