Talk about a merry Christmas! Matthew McConaughey got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend – and mother of his two children – Camila Alves over the weekend.

McConaughey posted a super sweet picture of the two kissing in front of their Christmas tree (above), along with the note, “Just asked camila to marry me. Merry Christmas!”

Matthew and Camila are parents to 3-year-old son Levi and 23-month-old daughter Vida. He’s made it clear for many years that Camila was the woman he was going to stick with, telling People, “I always wanted to be a father… It just took the right woman and the right time to make it happen.”
