Michael Fassbender’s NC-17 rated sex addict movie Shame opened this weekend in limited release – and performed quite admirably. Of course with pictures like ours, there was a ton of excitement buzz about this movie.

The film opened in ten screens across the U.S. on Friday and net $361,181 over the weekend – “an outstanding per-screen average of more than $36,000″ according to Reuters.
