Katie Holmes continued her birthday weekend festivities today. That’s one of the many perks of being a celeb: nearly every day is a weekend, and your birthday goes on forever. Sigh.

We caught up with the especially animated and lively actress as she had a late brunch at Bubby’s is Tribeca this afternoon. Ever since Katie hooked up with Tom Cruise, she’s been rather… um… demure. Often earning the nickname Holmesbot. It’s nice to see her excited and apparently experiencing regular person emotions.

Tom was not around. Just saying.
