Victoria Beckham just spent a quick day in Manhattan, where she spoke at the 2011 Women’s Wear Daily Apparel & Retail CEO Summit at The Plaza Hotel. Not a bad gig for a designer who just started out a few years ago.

Of course Posh has already won several big-time design awards, so she was never in the minor leagues. Though I would like to address her color choice for little Harper: brown? On a baby? She looks like a tiny UPS carrier.

Though she was only here for a short stay Victoria and Harper still managed to hit up FAO Schwarz – and have a nice dinner together at Nobu. Ahhh, Nobu. There is nothing babies love better than Japanese fusion.
