We caught up with the guy many are protesting should have been People’s Sexiest Man Alive – Ryan Gosling – on the set of his latest film, Gangster Squad in Los Angeles. How perfectly does this man fit into the 1950s?

Ryan plays an LAPD detective who’s fighting to rid the city of the mafia and mobster Mickey Cohen, played by Sean Penn.

Just a few days ago we found Gosling in a whole different world - romancing girlfriend Eva Mendes in Paris. The two dinned at the Eiffel Tower before going for a romantic stroll through the City of Light. It doesn’t get much more different from L.A. than that.
