That’s the rumor going around, among a bunch of others. For the last month or so the pervading thought was Kim was annoyed by how Kris wasn’t doing anything with himself during the NBA lockout. Last week Us Weekly published a story that quoted a source who said, “She told him he needs to do something productive…He needs to get off his ass, like, yesterday.” Considering how busy Kim is, it seemed like Kris laying around might be a big enough point of contention to cause some serious strain.

But according to TMZ, the real reason the two just can’t make their marriage work is that Kris wants to settle down and permanently live in his home state of Minnesota, and Kim’s not having it. Whatever made Kris think Kim Kardashian was a Midwest girl is just mind-boggling, but supposedly he thought she was on board with his plan.

Somehow I doubt Kris actually had a detailed, clear conversation with Kim, since I can’t imagine her ever saying “Yeah, Minneapolis sounds like a really fantastic plan.”
