Madonna arrived at the Venice Film Festival wearing a simple black dress and a big smile. No doubt she is excited (and anxious) for people to see her film W.E. which is premiering at the festival. The plot is centered around the tale of Wallis Simpson and King Edward but it’s a modern take on the story and of course, there’s a twist.

This movie marks Madonna’s second stab at directing. Her first attempt, 2008′s Filth and Wisdom didn’t go down so well so all eyes are on Madge. Can she pull it off? Well, she can certainly pull off style. Madonna looks years younger with her blond hair, flawless skin and of course, her incredibly toned figure. Put a few black rubber bracelets on her arm and add a bit of lace to the dress and you’d swear it was the 80s!
