All the celebs were out in force last night as the 63rd Prime Time Emmy Awards were handed out in Los Angeles. There wasn’t a single fashion misstep taken last night – the gowns were flawless, the hair and makeup was stunning and everyone had a great time. It looks like Joan Rivers and the Fashion Police crew will have their work cut out for them trying to find a worst dressed last night.

My fave was definitely Kate Winslet in that form fitting red gown that really made her stand out amongst all the other red dresses last night. (There really was a lot of red!) Kate also took home the Emmy for Best Actress in a Miniseries for Mildred Pierce. It was because of the dress I’m sure. The other standout for me was Gwyneth Paltrow – I felt she took the biggest fashion risk with her black lacey number with the middle cut away. Gwynnie presented the Emmy for Best Comedy TV show and the telepromter went on the fritz just at the moment she arrived to read it, so she had to wing it. It was better because that meant she didn’t have to read whatever witty banter was on the prompter. Modern Family took home the award for Best Comedy series.

Who was your favorite last night? My top five is Kate, Gwynnie, Kelly Osbourne, Christina Hendricks (wow!) and Amy Poehler actually. I loved that blue on her. Still though, there wasn’t a bad dress in the bunch. Good job guys!
