If you’re looking at these photos and thinking that Gerard Butler is a little slimmer these days, you’d be right. The Scottish actor has been shedding the pounds for his upcoming movie about a surfer. Actually Butler insists that he’s not as slim as photos make him out to be and there is nothing to worry about. I’ll say. I think he looks fantastic!

Butler flew from Toronto to New York to take in the Diesel show for Fashion Week. He also went to the screening of his latest movie Machine Gun Preacher. Despite his cool demeanor, Butler has had some troubles with this film. Or at least, the publicity of it. He’s had to hire extra security and bodyguards because of death threats being made. The movie is quite controversial and has several people very upset over the strong religious themes in the film.
