How adorable is Suri Cruise, prancing around at her gymnastics lesson yesterday afternoon in New York? Suri is clearly having an awesome time on the balance beam. But considering all the comments leveled at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes about Suri’s lack of friends, it sort of seems like a missed opportunity. How great would it have been if Suri were going to a gymnastics class instead of a private lesson? Non-robot friends to play with! Someone under thirty to smile at! Oh the fanciful joy.

Still, I commend the kid for her maserful balance beam skills, and ability to perform under pressure. How many of us could walk a straight line under Tom Cruise’s overly watchful eye?
