Exclusive Pics! Jon Bon Jovi Wraps Up Circle Tour & Heads Home To The Garden State!

We read a lot about Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Britney Spears going on tours, but there’s one band that outsells them all. And that’s Bon Jovi. The fans of these boys from Jersey are rabid and will never stop following Jon, Richie and company no matter what. And the reason that Bon Jovi can outsell Bieber and his ilk on tickets is their fans are in their 40s and upwards, (mostly) have jobs and money and can afford to go. Bieber’s fans have to beg their parents for the cash, consent and a chaperone.

This latest tour for Bon Jovi was their most successful yet. They grossed over $200 million around the world. And what’s really amazing is the fans just want the same songs. Over and over. So basically Bon Jovi doesn’t have to write any new music. They barely have to practice. They just travel the world, in a Blaze of Glory and make a sh** ton of cash. Nice life if you can get it!

The author of this post is ignorant. That’s not a slam, I mean it in the proper definition of the term. He simply isn’t aware that Bon Jovi regularly puts out new music. Every few years in fact and frequently has new singles sprinkled in between. Check out the complete discography with a 3 second search on itunes. And speaking for at least one rabid fan, I really want to hear it ALL, especially the new stuff.

More to the author: Check your facts before disparaging something you know little about. How many other 25+ year old bands out there are 1. still touring and 2. still putting out new music? Love the Stones but when is the last time we got something new from them? GNR? Didn’t think so. We have U2 and Bon Jovi and I am exceptionally thankful to both. Neil Diamond, Billy Joel and Elton John (love them all) still tour on occasion but I’m not up to date in those genre to know if they have new material out. Much as you clearly aren’t for Bon Jovi. They are absolutely some of the hardest working people in show business. Period. New music AND New tours.

Bieber also won’t be around in 25 years!  He will be where he is for another couple of years and then his fans will get older and want to see more than a boy singing some songs and dancing around stage.  Bon Jovi outsells Bieber because they have built years and years worth of fans.  Their music continues to evolve and sure fans want to hear the “Living on a Prayer’s” and “You Give Love a Bad Name’s” but the band also never fails to release a few catchy songs with every new album that fans want to hear too.  And just in case you forgot, back in the 80′s the same fans who today are in their 40′s, and can “afford” to go to concerts, were back then in their teens and had to ask their parents for money to go to shows too.  Just come talk to me if in 25 years if Bieber is still around and relevant!

So this article was written WHY exactly?  Because nothing in it, other than the fact that the tour ended, is correct.

He’s not back in Jersey…they’re still writing new music (and we’re happy about it!)

Oh, and Bon Jovi does better than Justin Bieber because they’re BETTER, not because Bieber-fans are teeny-boppers who don’t have their own money. The songs actually mean something and the guys put their hearts & souls into it.

“The fans just wants the same songs. Over and over” clearly this author doesn’t know what the diehards wants..we want a variety of songs, a good mix of old and new/rarities. We get that too for the most part! That is what we want. As for this ridiculous generalization of ages for the Bon Jovi fans this author has clearly NOT attended any Bon Jovi concerts..There are ALL ages at ALL shows. Yes many fans are adults but that is what you get when you have been around for almost 30 years! That is a credit to their longevity and quality!

My kingdom for a NO hits concert.  I like “It’s My Life” but much I’d rather hear “Damned”.
