Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of Beverly Hills Real Housewife Taylor Armstrong has been found dead. The cause of death is apparent suicide. A source told TMZ that Russell was found hanging in his bedroom.

Russell and Taylor filed for divorce about a month ago. Initially it was an amicable split but Taylor later alleged that Russell has verbally and physically abused her and she had to leave him. Russell said in his defense that “…maybe things happened in the heat of the moment, but it was during a time in our lives that was not characteristic of who we were. This show (Real Housewives) has literally pushed us to the limit.”

Russell leaves behind his 5 year old daughter Kennedy.
